賽德克巴萊原始森林取景地 - 山蘇林
和平區桃山部落（雪山坑部落）佔地五十公頃的原始林，生長大量野生山蘇，號稱「全台最大山蘇林」，也是電影「賽德克巴萊」取景地。山蘇因生長在樹枝上，宛如一處處鳥巢，所以又有「鳥巢蕨」之稱。桃山部落緊鄰大安溪，山林美景，還有雪山溪的潺潺流水相伴，四至九月是山蘇生長季節，一片綠油油，十分美麗。上山旅遊正是時候。前稱為「雪山坑部落」現多稱為「桃山部落」，位於和平區與苗栗交界處，五十公頃的原始林，是泰雅族的傳統領域，包含收歸公共造產的原「雪山花園農場」及一旁林務局管轄的山蘇林。這一大片山蘇林。不過，在電影「賽德克巴萊」取景作為日軍森林游擊戰場地後，才逐漸被外界知曉，是位處偏遠的秘境。
